Continuing from a bachelor’s to a master’s
When you complete your bachelor education and choose to continue to study for a master’s degree, it’s urgent that you inform us. By doing so, your free student membership of CA will continue, while at the same time you ensure your right to claim benefits for 2 years after completing your bachelor degree. If you fail to inform us, we will assume that you wish to transfer from free to paying membership, as the bachelor degree is considered a completed education in itself.
Completing your bachelor studies soon?
When you complete your bachelor studies, you should make note of a few important rules in order to avoid unpleasant surprises. Most importantly, you must inform CA no later than 14 days after receiving your last grade. This is relevant also if you continue your studies on a master’s programme. Learn what to do below.
If you are already a student member
If you are a student member with us, just fill in the Change your status from student to graduate form. If you discontinue your studies after taking your bachelor degree, you will transfer from free student membership to paying membership. If you begin studying for a master’s degree, use the same form to let us know that you are continuing on a master’s programme. We will then make sure that your free student membership is extended, and you will soon receive confirmation about this.
If you fail to inform us about completing your bachelor studies
In case that you continue your studies, but forget to fill in and submit the Change your status from student to graduate form within 14 days of receiving your last grade, you are automatically transferred to paying membership and will not be entitled to receive benefits for the next 2 years. If you wish to return to free student membership, you can apply for exemption
